This is a ceramic instrument, called a Xun, made from stoneware clay. Xun's are a vessel flute, traditionally from China. This Xun has a blow hole (on the top), six finger holes (on the front) and two finger holes (on the back). This Xun is functional and produces sound. I have been able to make a sound using any finger configuration I try. However, I am not sure what key this Xun is in. If you are truly interested in purchasing this Xun, please let me know if you would like video/audio of it being used, I will gladly provide that. It is approximately 4 1/4 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter, and weighs 10.8 ounces. Signed and dated on the bottom.
