Large Ceramic Sculpture - Outdoor / Garden

This is a large ceramic sculpture, hand-built from stoneware clay. It features a violet glaze and gold paint (oil based). I broke this work in half while it was in the bone dry stage, so I could fit it into my kiln. I used epoxy to re-attach the two pieces once it was glaze fired. The twine on the exterior that appears to be holding the two halves together, is just for decoration. This work can be placed indoors, or outdoors. It is approximately 25 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches in diameter, and weighs 17 lbs. 3.2 oz.
