Pit Fired Ceramic Vessel - 2018

This is a ceramic vessel made from stoneware clay. It has been pit fired and exhibits a black, gray, and white palette. This vessel has an orb-like removable lid, as seen in photos.The exterior of the work has been finished with a floor finish to give it a matte sheen. Work is not food safe, and will not store liquid. It is decorative. Approximately 6 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches in diameter, and weighs 3 lbs. 12.4 oz. Signed and dated on the bottom.
