This is a small functional vase, hand built from black stoneware clay. It features a spalted green/earthy glaze on the interior, and a green stain on the exterior, emphasizing the texture and sculptural elements. It is approximately 7 1/4 inches tall by 6 inches wide (wing tip to wing tip) by 2 inches wide. It weighs 15.3 ounces. Signed and dated on the bottom.
